There’s an RSS feed provided by MI5 (the UK Security Service) that allows you to display an up-to-date terror threat level for the UK on any web page that can check and present an RSS feed. It looks like this:
The text on the line above will change as and when MI5 posts an updated threat level on this feed. The text itself is clickable and doing so will load the threat levels page on MI5’s website, which includes an explanation of the different threat levels as well as other information.
